After years off cleats, jumping back in with the Fox Union BOAs was a game-changer. The fit is super snug and the BOA dial makes adjustments easy. Cleat position felt natural—almost identical to my Fox Union flat shoes pedal stance. It’s great to have adequate adjustment space of the cleats.
Took them out on a cold, wet Saturday and they performed like champs. Whether I was clipped in or hiking a greasy section, the grip was unreal — no slipping, just confidence. The pedal feel is dialed; you can really feel how much power you’re putting down without losing comfort. Even in the rain, my feet stayed warm and dry, and the shoes never felt waterlogged or heavy. That welded upper and reinforced design doesn’t just look good — it holds up. Fox really nailed the balance between stiffness, trail feel, and protection. Top marks from me.
