By proceeding with race entry, you confirm that you have read and agree to the following terms:

1. Acknowledgement of Risk

I understand and accept that downhill and enduro mountain biking are inherently dangerous activities that involve the risk of serious injury, permanent disability, or death. I voluntarily choose to participate with full knowledge and acceptance of these risks.

2. Release of Liability

I hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all claims for injury, loss, damage, or death that may arise from my participation in the event. This release applies to, but is not limited to:

• Dustin Troy Rudman

• The Dustin Rudman Invitational (DRI)

• The owners, managers, and staff of the race location

• Event sponsors, organisers, officials, volunteers, and affiliates

This release applies whether the injury or loss is caused by negligence (ordinary or gross), conditions of the trails, weather, rider conduct, or any other factor — except in cases of proven intentional misconduct.

3. Indemnity

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the above-mentioned parties against any liability, costs, legal fees, or claims brought by third parties resulting from my actions during the event or while on venue property.

4. Medical Consent

I authorise medical personnel or event organisers to administer emergency first aid or arrange further medical treatment if necessary. I accept full financial responsibility for any treatment or transport required.

5. Rules & Responsibilities

I agree to:

• Obey all event rules, signage, and instructions given by event staff;

• Wear a helmet at all times while riding;

• Refrain from reckless behaviour that endangers myself or others;

• Accept that the event organisers may disqualify or remove any participant for safety or behavioural reasons.

6. Photography & Media Release

I consent to the use of my name, likeness, and image captured during the event for marketing, promotional, or editorial purposes by the event organisers and their partners, without compensation.

7. Minors

If I am entering a minor under the age of 18, I confirm that I am their legal guardian and accept these terms on their behalf. I take full responsibility for their participation, conduct, and safety.

8. Jurisdiction & Legal Binding

This waiver is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of South African courts. If any part of this waiver is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full effect.

9. Digital Acknowledgement

By completing race entry and payment, I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this waiver and indemnity in full. I acknowledge that I am giving up significant legal rights and accept full responsibility for my participation in the event.
